This information is intended for use with the Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game.

Terrestrial Environment

Forests comprise one of ten categories of terrestrial environments, the others being badlands, deserts, hills, marshes, moors, mountains, plains, swamps, and subterranean.

Forests of the Realms

Cold Forests

Ardeep Forest, Cold Wood, Frozen Forest, High Forest, Kryptgarden Forest, Lurkwood, Moonwood, Neverwinter Wood, Silverwood, South Wood, Westwood.

crossroads guardian, divine minion, hakeashar, Innugaakalikurit, kupuk, phaerimm, serpent vine, spectator, Statue That Walks, tirichik. Innugaakalikurit, kupuk, and tirichik are only encountered on the Great Glacier. Statues That Walk are only encountered in Mulhorand.

Temperate Forests

Border Forest, Cormanthor, Dernall Forest, Fokobi Forest, Forgotten Forest, Misty Forest, Reaching Woods, Spiderhaunt Wood, Weathercote Wood, Yuirwood.

Warm Forests

Ganathwood, Methwood, Nunwood.
