At a Glance

Semphar is a nation between Faerûn and Kara-Tur. Villages are semi-autonomous, each ruled by a respected elder known as an ataman.

The capital of Semphar is Dhaztanar.

Other important cities include Estanil and Phelzol.

Semphar is blanketed with small towns and hamlets, some of which appear on a few local maps. These include Anbar, Baduraya, Banawari, Banu, Darabjind, Duirtanal, Fustat, Harb, Iliphanar, Isabadah, Jurjan, Khalis, Maristan, Merv, Naysabur, Nihawand, Qumis, Saaid, Semlithol, Shahar, Simman, Siniyat, Takrit, Taquasma, Uman, Wadieska’b, and Zabad.

Other inhabited structures include fortresses such as Dar al Kalif, and the Temple of Dayr.
