A power of the Drow Pantheon. Before she became a goddess of the drow, she was a goddess of elves, known as Araushnee. She was cast out from among the Seldarine; an event which corresponded to the transformation and Descent of the Drow in the Realms. The year was circa -10000 Dalereckoning.

She’s known as Lloth in Menzoberranzan.
She rules The Demonweb Pits; the 66th layer of the Abyss.
In 1e, Lolth was, in addition to being a goddess of the drow, one of the beast cults followed by small numbers of humans.
