Art Review

One of these was a sketch for the 3e harpy. Some high and low points in comparison to the 3.5 version.

The other… apparently there was a plan at one point to add this not-so-harpyish harpy. I think it’s a neat idea, but perhaps redundant with the aarakocra and other avian/humanoid creatures already in place. It seems this dorky bird went the way of its buddy the dodo.

Among other worthy efforts available on Google, a different and far more alluring take on the harpy was presented in The Erotic Monster Manual Contest at somethingawful.com.
