At a Glance

A stronghold found beneath some nameless ruins on the northern edge of the High Moor. Recently, it’s the lair of wererats led by a mysterious figure known only as the Hark.

At a Glance

Once a gem mine worked by the Deepdelve clan of dwarves, it was more recently used by the troll king Glarauuth as a prison for human slaves destined to become troll meals. It can be accessed through tunnels just inside the southern edge of the Lurkwood.

Beneath the “dungeon” is a lava tube known as Gargoyle Tube, which leads down to the Wormwrithings and the Underdark.

Crumbling Stair

The Crumbling Stair is a broken marble spiral staircase, which rises out of overgrown foundations in the Sword Hills east of Waterdeep. The stairs descend into extensive cellars haunted by apparitions.
