This is a collection of stuff I find funny, related to D&D. Feel free to make suggestions.
Epic Leadership
On the Epic Leadership table, on page 37 of the ELH, a footnote states that “You can’t have a follower of higher than 20th level…”
The funny: extrapolating the math of the table, it would take a Leadership Score of 13138 to qualify for a level 20 follower. I don’t think you’ll need to worry about this limit, but it would indeed be epic; you would have in the neighborhood of 1,572,973 followers total. Your cohort’s max level: 6574.
Happy Pills for the Drow
The elven name for the drow is ssri–tel–quessir [Source: Races of Faerûn: 34], the “ssri” being what distinguishes them from the other elven subraces.
The funny: down at your local Walgreen’s, SSRI stands for Selective Seratonin Reuptake Inhibitor. This term describes a type of drug which is often prescribed to combat depression. Prozac, Paxil, and Zoloft are SSRIs. I guess it’s really not hard to imagine most drow needing Prozac.
