The Buckleswashers

This information is intended for use with the Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game.

At a Glance

An adventuring company currently operating in/around Waterdeep. Composed of a gnome and five halflings, the group seems to be “closed” to new additions… at least for the moment. This is probably due to Bungobar’s history with Lord Jhannas Errlyk; he has reason to be at least a little suspicious of anyone attempting to befriend him.

Jhannas Errlyk

This information is intended for use with the Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game.

At a Glance

A human fighter. He heads a family business dealing in herbs, spices, wines, and poisons. He smuggles small items in his caravans. His illicit deals in Waterdeep are exposed in 1366 DR by former agents who form The Buckleswashers. Lord Errlyk escapes the city but the publicity costs him personal revenue and status within the guild, and destroys his efforts to infiltrate The Knights of the Shield. Consequently he vows to slay Bungobar Talltankard at any cost.

Lord Errlyk is a member of the Shadow Thieves. Following the fiasco in Waterdeep, he’s second-in-command under the Silhouette of Fences, Pirates, and Smugglers in Myratma; it’s unclear if he had a higher rank beforehand.
