Passing Mention
  • Magic of Faerûn errata (16 March 2006) — The errata says to make it a 5th level spell; one place says to make it a Sor/Wiz spell only (meaning that clerics don’t get it) but another place says to add it to the 5th level cleric spell list. Since clerics get dimensional anchor, I opt to let them have dimensional lock as well, but the errata is not authoritative on that subject. Note that it’s once again an 8th level spell in the 3.5 Player’s Handbook. However, I think it makes sense to make it 5th level, with dimensional lock in mind and (more significantly) because the MoF errata was released after the publication of the 3.5 PH. However, the errata for the PH says nothing about this spell.
