At a Glance

A large vale north of Shalhoond, between the Mountains of Copper and the Khopet-Dag. This area is sacred to the Tuigan, who believe that their people originated here. The name Ejen Horo means Valley of the God in their tongue.

A sect of Tuigan known as the Irooukudel live here. Their sacred task is to prepare and watch over the greatest of the dead. Fallen heroes, khans, and khahans are brought to the Ejen Horo; the wealthiest and most powerful are buried in tombs marked by statues or cairns, but most are given a “wind burial.”

The Ejen Horo is also populated by the spirits of those whose bodies have been brought here. They are generally benign to Tuigan who come to pay their respects, but hostile to grave robbers and all outsiders.
