At a Glance
Adventurers is a general term for individuals who are not content to live out their lives as serfs, nobles, or even royalty. They want to see the world and make their own rules. This of course includes heroes like the player characters.
Other adventurers are fickle friends and enthusiastic enemies of many heroes. There is probably nothing to say which holds true for all such groups, so for now this is just a list.
