At a Glance

An elven city located near what is now Hellgate Keep. It was overrun and razed by orcs long ago. All that’s left is overgrown rubble and a few sewer tunnels. Adventurers sometimes seek to draw upon the power of the mythal which may still survive here; it’s said to repair and restore charges to magical items.

A “living web” of magic created (originally) by elven high magic. Mussum

This cursed ruin is said to still hold all the belongings of its citizens, many of whom were caught unawares by a plague so swift and virulent that it slew people before they could escape the city.

Mussum is found on the coast of Chondath, and has lain abandoned since 472 DR.

Lyrar’s Hold

This information is intended for use with the Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game.

At a Glance

The keep has vanished due to the passage of time, with the assistance of dragons battling over a nesting spot. All that’s left are the extensive underground storage chambers and passages, which are inevitably occupied by monsters.

The hold is located on the western edge of the Forest of Wyrms, due east of Boareskyr Bridge.

The Lonely Tower

This information is intended for use with the Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game.

At a Glance

A tall white tower west of the Cold Wood, said to be inhabited by a mighty wizard who employs orc and elemental guardians and strongly discourages visitors.

The Company of Crazed Venturers drove out an earlier occupant of the tower: the evil mage Arbane and his apprentices/consorts Tantra and Werendae. The Company reported that the Tower has many cellars, one of which contains a seemingly-sentient pool which can heal wounds.
