Balduran

This information is intended for use with the Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game.

At a Glance

Balduran is a legendary sailor, revered in Baldur’s Gate and likely unknown elsewhere.

According to the stories, Balduran sailed west past Evermeet in search of Anchorome. He returned, laden with wealth and tales of the lands he had discovered. He left much of his new fortune in the small port of his birth, to fund a wall that would protect the town from the orc and barbarian raids that still ravaged the area in those days. Then he went back to sea, and hasn’t been seen since. There is much speculation about his fate, but it’s clear that his gold grew the port of Baldur’s Gate.
