At a Glance

Zhentil Keep is an independent city on the Moonsea. Once known as Flostren’s Hold.

The army of Zhentil Keep, known as the Zhentilar, is hated around the Moonsea and throughout the Dalelands. Many folk believe the Zhentilar to be the military arm of the Zhentarim, and that’s not entirely false since the Zhentarim controls Zhentil Keep, but the average Zhentilar soldier is not a member of the Zhentarim.

Several dragons attacked the city during the Flight of Dragons in 1356 DR.

Citizens of Zhentil Keep are referred to as Zhent; individuals may also be called Keepers.
