At a Glance
The Citadel of the Raven is a string of fortresses north of the Moonsea.
The Zhentilar seize the Citadel in the name of Zhentil Keep circa 1355 DR, slaughtering the garrisons sent by other Moonsea cities. The Zhentarim subsequently uses the fortresses as well. Under Zhent control, the Citadel houses over 2,000 men-at-arms, led by Commander Kandar Milinal.
One of the battlements, known as Sundeth’s Tower, contains the tomb of Sundeth Gossyl.
The Citadel is attacked by three dragons during the Flight of Dragons in 1356 DR.
