An alias claimed more than once by Mystra. She gave it to Caitlan in visions during the Time of Troubles. Before that, Imrue was an avatar, in the days of Myth Drannor.

Caitlan was Mystra‘s intended avatar during the Time of Troubles.
Unfortunately Caitlan’s service, compelled from the start through a geas laid on her by Mystra, was rewarded only with misery and death. Midnight was left to complete the task Mystra was too proud to do (recovering the Tablets of Fate) and ultimately became the new goddess of magic.
