Alzegund

At a Glance

Alzegund, commonly known as Alzegund the Trader, is a male human wizard, necromancer, and Red Wizard.

Circa 1365 DR, he accompanies caravans important to the Red Wizards across Cormyr, Sembia, and the Vast, protecting the assets of the Zulkirs of Thay. He is proud of his heritage and affiliation, and typically doesn’t make any effort to conceal them.

Ailoth
is a wizard and a Red Wizard of Thay, and travels regularly between Hillsfar and the Sembian cities.

He claims to be outcast and trying to operate a legitimate business — moneylending and buying “distressed” goods). The government of Hillsfar knows what he’s really up to, but tolerates him because he provides useful (and only sometimes false) information.
