At a Glance
I’m a sporadic visitor at the Candlekeep forums these days, and I’m in the nailbiting position of knowing that there’s a huge amount of information buried like gems in the “Questions For” various authors threads, and yet unable to keep up with the threads for any length of time. Attention-deficit-whatever is a real pain in the arse. Which makes the idea I had tonight rather amusing: I’m going to go through those threads, post by post, and add pages to this blog for as many items of relevant Realmslore as possible — with links to the Candlekeep posts, naturally.
The purpose of this project merits its own paragraph. I’m not making an index of Candlekeep’s forums. I’m incorporating what I can from those forums into my posts on this blog. Notably, I’m not indexing the questions/comments… only the relevant authors’ and designers’ replies. Basically I’m just treating the forums like another sourcebook… albeit one written in a sort of Q&A format, by a lot of different people.
