Is It Canon?

According to Wizards of the Coast, the presence of the Forgotten Realms logo is the determining factor of a product’s canonticity. Yes, I just made up a word. Feel free to use it; it’s brilliant.

The Forgotten Realms logo is not on the map, though it is on the game CDs — a distinction which I take to mean that the people and places in the game are canon, but their relative locations may not be.
