The most widely known king of Anauria. He was alternately known as Thausimbel the Wise, Greybeard, and Thausimbel the Long-Lived. He was most likely of the Thardresk family. He was descended of elven blood, and ruled for more than 360 years. (Note that Anauria lasted 450 years, from -339 to 111 DR.)
