Elaith Craulnobur

This information is intended for use with the Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game.

At a Glance

Elaith Craulnobur —nicknamed the Serpent— is a moon elven adventurer of Waterdeep. His name is spelled Craulnober in some sources. He’s also rumored to operate in Skullport and Luskan under the alias of Lord Buronae Trilluach.

He’s usually looking to sponsor (and occasionally lead) adventuring bands to explore various ruins and dungeons of the North. Cynics say he’s just looking for fodder to spring traps and die in battle, leaving him to collect the wealth. He is known to be the last surviving member of the Company of the Claw and the Three Blades, both successful companies who achieved some fame before (as the stories go) being betrayed by the Serpent.

He is an experienced fighter and mage. He also owns quite a bit of property in Waterdeep, and has significant wealth hidden away.

He is widely distrusted by humans in Waterdeep, but hated by elves of Evermeet and across the North.
