Thomdor

This information is intended for use with the Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game.

At a Glance

Thomdor is a fighter.

Officially, Baron Thomdor is Cormyr’s Warden of the Eastern Marches. He’s stationed in Arabel, and commands the Purple Dragons stationed there. He is also nominally in charge of the city Watch, through Dutharr. He’s one of only a handful of sources for Royal Charters, which (in order to be lawful) every adventuring band needs.

Thomdor is a cousin of King Azoun IV. He was born in 1298 DR; his father was Elduss Ammaeth and his mother was Tanaeth Rowanmantle. He has a brother, Bhereu, and both of them are unshakably loyal to the crown.

He is described as stout and bearded.

The Xaeyruudh Campaign

I haven’t seen an official description of him which contradicts this… though there might be something in a novel that I’m forgetting. I would place him at 6 ft 2 inches tall and 220 lbs (188 cm, 100 kg) which makes him about 30 lbs overweight. He should be a chondathan human, so medium complexion with blue eyes and reddish hair. His hair should be coarse and not quite shoulder-length. The beard probably reaches his collarbone. Reminiscent of a Viking. In 1365 DR, he’s showing signs of aging. His hair and beard are shot with white, and his face is lined.
