Farid’s father Fahd yn Sarsor al Nisr is a First Yshelem of the Rundeen. Farid’s involvement with Syllia has prompted to Fahd to develop an interest in the Adarbrent shipping fortune… and, presumably, the access to Waterdhavian nobility and politics afforded by his connection to the family. Farid is unaware or has neglected to inform his lady love of his father’s affiliation and motives.
