At a Glance

A large subterranean city built by the dwarves of Delzoun but not part of that realm.

Now abandoned by civilized folk, the ruins are inhabited by various monsters including mind flayers and ghosts. There are at least three levels of chambers; the lowest leads down into the Underdark, and the upper level is claimed by an “adventuring band” calling itself the Hargrath. The ventilation shaft was once inhabited by a recently vanished red dragon.

Mithral Hall

This information is intended for use with the Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game.

At a Glance

A dwarven realm of the Sword Coast North, founded circa -600 DR. This is the ancestral home of Clan Battlehammer; the first king was Gandalug Battlehammer and with the exception of two recent centuries the crown has remained in Battlehammer hands.

About 180 years ago, it fell to the shadow dragon Shimmergloom and was soon populated with duergar.

In 1356 DR, Bruenor Battlehammer and allies slew Shimmergloom and drove out the duergar. Since then, word has spread quickly and dwarves are returning to Mithral Hall.
