Baskor Tranth is a male human wizard.

At one point he is part of an adventuring group from Priapurl, calling itself the Brightstar. Baskor is the sole survivor from the band’s foray into Myth Drannor. Following this experience, he is still fascinated by adventure but he’s too paranoid and fearful to return to it.

Circa 1365 DR, he resides in a tower in Suzail. He’s surly and stout, and frequents the city’s taverns.

Who Rules

Suzail is the capital of Cormyr, so King Azoun IV rules here. However, Sthavar oversees the daily operations of the city in the name of the king. The local Herald is Xrorn Hackhand.

Who Really Rules

Behind the scenes, the merchant families and trading companies based here wield great power. Moreso after the death of Azoun IV, the nobles also try to work their will wherever possible.
